To summarise, the thread is a discussion by a group of mechanical and other engineers speculating on how a realistic steampunk-style world may arise. If you read any of the other topics on this forum you will quickly see that these guys have a high level of technical knowledge.
Obviously in the real world the petrol powered internal combustion engine because the dominant automotive power, but if the situation were only a little different steam technology may have reigned supreme. Hopefully the link will provide inspiration to anyone planning on running a steampunk style game.
Howdy all, as I said I will continue posting the story that I have started. Luckily I keep a running copy of the story as it evolves.
