need tank, have heals... I'm a reasonably experienced roleplayer who's been out of the game for a while due to a move from Adelaide and is interested in getting back into it. I'd be happy to either join an established group or put together a new one; and while I'm entirely happy to play (and reasonably skilled at it), I tend to make a better GM. I currently live in Narraweena (near Dee Why/Manly) in the Northern Beaches, and while I'm limited to public transport, I can get just about anywhere with that. I'm enthusiastic, friendly, like to think I'm quite skilled, and more than willing to provide dinner and DVDs. Do leave a message; either on this forum or, to reach me directly, kadrin@gmail.com. |

Thank you! I soon realised that I should probably go into more detail: so, I can really cook just about anything, but my specialties include this sort of chicken casserole/stew that... ...no. Wait. About the roleplaying. Okay. Just about every game I've got is out-of-date, but I've D&D 3.5E, GURPS 4th edition, a collection of books from the old World of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, Panty Explosion (a terrible name for an incredible game, learned about it at SydCon), and I'm sure I can find my old Kobolds Ate My Baby! books around here somewhere. I'm interested in learning about and playing just about any RPG save FATAL, and any number of card or miniatures games. Including Canasta. I'm having a hell of a time finding a group, so I'm pretty sure I'll end up starting one; can anyone suggest a good place in Sydney? At the moment the only one I know about is the Good Games shop at Burwood. Which would be fine, and close to the Sydney Dumpling King, but it's nice to have options. |

We still need another player or two for Thursdays at Burwood from about 6:30pm at Sydney Gaming Centre if you are interested. |

Hi Kadrin, I'm in Dee Why and trying to start a local D&D 4e group. I'm a new player and I'm having trouble finding a group to join. so i thought i would start a new one. i sure the group could use an experienced DM, what style of game do you run? i lean towards a full Role-Playing game and not just about battle mechanics. but the main thing is to have fun! i was planing a kind of round robin DM system but if the group likes the style of one DM no reason to to stick with them. i'm posting in other aussie forums around the net, but only started looking a few days ago so i don't actually have any players lined up yet (besides myself). i also play Eye f Judgment and i am a old 40k and MTG player. let me know if your interested! BTW also from Adelaide |

Hey guys, A friend and I are looking for a group to start playing 4e with. I live in Hurstville, but am moving to the city soon and he lives around the Pymble area. We both have a great understanding of the rules and ready and willing once we find a group. What other information do I put here? Becasue this kind of feels unfinished... |

Well my name is Challito, I'm 17, currently in my final year of school. I've played a few campaigns and am currently involved in one where I am playing a Thug-like sorcerer. Its going pretty well. I love the role-playing and story-telling aspects of DnD and I don't care at all if the rules have to suffer for that. I really like to flesh out my character so I can react more truthfully to situations, and love to find out about everyone else's characters as well. (I guess its the storytelling thing again.) My favorite classes are...varied. I like to try new things, and different roles. I'm really enjoying the striker I'm playing at the moment solely because of the damage potential. That said I really like all the other classes as well so I'm happy to fill any roles that need filling. I figure I'll get my friend to sign up to this forum and he can handle this question himself. I'll try to contact him asap. |

hi i am the friend i am jamie hello same year as above. ive never played the table top, have heaps of experience with other table top games and i guess if it helps baulders gate and neverwinter nights... ive been playing around with the character builder and have a fair idea of either warlock or a druid (which i based on my neverwinter nights character, whos skills/feats im more comfortable with) but yeah, ive been looking for a good game to play, and am really into the story aspect. since im new, ill fill what role i need to. |

G'day guys. Also interested in a local game - I'm based in Dee Why but can travel. Not sure what D&D 4e is all about, I learnt on AD&D - but can adapt. Can be contacted via: jason70williams@gmail.com Cheers, Jason |
